Allaah's anger in the holiest of months...

assalamu 'alaikum,

first off, for those who were concerned and may Allaah bless you, me and my wife are fine. I was in islamabad during the quake and we felt it. A sever shaking and it was no joke. What we felt was nothing though compared to what happened around the epicenter of the quake. SubhanAllaah. Allaah ta'alaa's anger in the holiest of months is no joke. This is something serious. There is something so seriously wrong with this qawm that we deserve this severe adhab and not just at any time but during the month of Ramadhan. This is Allaah's sign. He is not happy with us. May Allaah guide us to correct our ways.

This qawm has not learned its lesson however so the azab continues. After the hurricane, people began looting relief trucks and bus drivers increased their prices to drive people to their villages. Increased from 100 rupees to 400 rupees. Not surprising some of their buesses are in ruines right now. May Allaah guide us to as-Siraat al-Mustaqeem because we definately are not on it right now.

Let me tell you something, I have not seen the worst of it but I have seen some of it. It is very important that you praise Allaah that you were not in the place of these people. I got a chance to go to the hospital with a friend and see some people who came from muzafarabad and kashmir and it was so sad. A 3 year old girl who had her hand amputated because it was so severely crushed. The look on their faces were exactly the same, just shocked. This country is full of corruption, so much so that it is no secret. Everyone knows it and everyone expects it. So much so that its common to give bribery money to get some work done, even the smallst thing like getting a driver's license. the good people are few. and the innocent have to suffer because of the corruption of the evil. Allaah is not happy and that means we should nto be happy.

Alhamdulillah I am ok in my health, but I ask Allaah to fix my iman and the iman of the people of this country and of the Muslism world wide. We should ask Allaah to forgive us and correct our ways before the rest of us taste this punishmen. Unfortunately it seems like these people have not learned their lesson, I ask Allaah to protect the righteous and to correct the misguided and to save us from His anger, especially in the most holiest of times. This is seriously something to ponder about, to cry about, to ask Allaah's help about. May Allaah guide us all, this world will end and there will be nothing left but what our hands have put forth... and whatever they have put forth, it is not enough, nor will it ever be... we need to seek forgiveness and mercy and we need to straighten up as straight as possible, no matter who it offends in this world, we should never offend Allaah as much as we have to deserve this. Please make dua' for the deceased, some of them were burried with no kafan (shroud) and were not even prayed janaza for. Please make dua.

Alhamdulilah!! I am soo glad you guys are safe!!! Corruption is a HORRIBLE thing - I hate it and people who like to use it for their own greed. How are things in Rawalpindi? My husband has a really good friend there and we have heard NOTHING from him and they have been trying to call for days and days...

Assalam o Alakum
Nice to hear from You
I very well understand what you mean by corruption in pak
People who try to go by law are the weakest in this society
Otherwise, if you hav money in Pakistan, you can get everything done, even laws changed in your favor
And this is true from very top till down...
And people take advantage of your bad situation...
rather than helping.
If you go by law, there r so many hurdles that u feel fully frustrated. People create non issues for u. And there is none to ask as well...except Allah swt...
May Allah have mercy on Muslimeen, amin
